Due to my experience growing up in a large, loving Filipino family, I have always valued and nurtured my relationships. Whenever someone needs help, I pride myself on being the one to call. This helped shape my decision when choosing my first career to become a nurse. Leading with compassion, intention, and conscientiousness, I strived to treat each patient like they were a member of my own family and made conscious decisions to protect them.

 

These skills have helped me transition into the field of UX/UI Design, where I’m able to empathize with users, advocate for the problems they are facing, and develop solutions with purpose. As I worked through each project, I kept the user at the forefront of my design decisions and focused on how I could help improve their overall experience. Combined with my appreciation of finding beauty in nature and simplicity, I have truly found my passion as a product designer and I'm highly interested in UI Design.

 

As I continue to grow and develop my skills within the industry,  it is my intention to provide a holistic approach when empathizing with problems users are facing, solving for complex issues, and designing inclusive human-centered products that addresses their needs. It is my goal to provide users with a product that is aesthetically pleasing, familiar, relevant, and ultimately provides a positive experience for the user.
